學吉他十幾年，錄了這首才驚覺自己的琴藝可謂「貓鼠不如」。

《湯姆貓與傑利鼠》是我小時候最愛看的卡通。原以為小時候同一集可以連續看三次已經夠瘋狂了，沒想到現在會為了編曲，而在一天內連續看超過三十次。

如果把〈第二號匈牙利狂想曲〉與「古典吉他」這兩個詞放在一起，我願意用我的貓尾巴來打賭，大家腦中出現的人必定只有一位，也就是山下和仁。

到最後其實也不用管「山下」到底是「何人」了，因為如果以「位在山頂的人」來比喻古典吉他技巧登峰造極者，山下和仁毫無疑問就是「在外太空的神」。

由於卡通中的〈第二號匈牙利狂想曲〉有許多不同，所以這次我沒有採用山下和仁的編曲版本，而是自己從頭到尾按照湯姆貓與傑利鼠的演奏來編曲。剛開始編的時候是盛夏，編完後卻已入冬了。

最後，我知道大家可能會有些想問的問題，所以先做了簡單的Q&A了。

Q1：裡面彈吉他的人真的是陳老師嗎？
A1：對，是我。

Q2：變成湯姆貓後看得到東西嗎？
A2：看不到，眼前只有漆黑一片。

Q3：要如何在看不到吉他的情況下從第2把位跳到第16把位？
A3：每天看三十遍湯姆貓與傑利鼠，想像自己的手指可以像湯姆貓一樣突然伸長。

Q4：如果要彈這個編曲版本，哪些基本功或技巧是比較重要的？
A4：琶音、音階、顫音、複弦裝飾音、rasgueado。

Q5：脫下布偶裝後的第一個想法？
A5：原來空氣對人類是這麼重要的東西。

Q6：做這部作品最困難的是哪個部份？
A6：找回童年時喜歡看卡通的單純的自己。

I have been learning guitar for more than ten years, but after recording this song I realized that my guitar skills are "not as good as a cat or a mouse".

"Tom and Jerry" was my favorite cartoon when I was a child. I thought it was crazy enough to watch the same episode three times in a row when I was a kid, but I never expected that now I would watch it over thirty times in a single day just to compile the music.

If you put the words "Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2" and "classical guitar" together, I'd be willing to bet my cat's tail that there is only one person that comes to mind: Kazuhito Yamashita.

In the end, it doesn’t really matter who “Yamashita” is, because if we use “the person at the top of a mountain” to describe the person who has reached the pinnacle of classical guitar skills, then Yamashita Kazuhito is undoubtedly the “God in outer space.”

Since there are many differences in the "Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2" in the cartoon, I did not use Yamashita Kazuhito's arrangement this time. Instead, I arranged it myself from beginning to end according to Tom and Jerry's performance. It was midsummer when I started to weave it, but it was already winter when I finished.

Finally, I know you may have some questions, so I will do a simple Q&A first.

Q1: Is the person playing the guitar in the video really Mr. Chen?
A1: Yes, it’s me.

Q2: Can you see things after becoming Tom Cat?
A2: I can’t see anything. There is only darkness in front of me.

Q3: How can I jump from the 2nd position to the 16th position without seeing the guitar?
A3: Watch Tom and Jerry 30 times a day, and imagine that your fingers can suddenly stretch out like Tom.

Q4: If you want to play this arrangement, which basic skills or techniques are more important?
A4: Arpeggios, scales, trills, polychord ornaments, rasgueado.

Q5: What was your first thought after taking off your puppet costume?
A5: It turns out that air is so important to humans.

Q6: What was the most difficult part of making this work?
A6: Find the innocent self who loved watching cartoons in childhood.
