這首曲子與頻道之前介紹過的〈River Flows in You〉都是韓國鋼琴家李閏珉的代表作。

幾年前我編過比較好彈的G大調版本給學生練習，但考量到G大調已經有太多人編過、以及音樂的彈奏效果，最後決定以C大調呈現這首曲子。

有人說作曲者受星夜中的一場雨感動，而寫下這首作品。

也有人說〈Kiss the Rain〉的創作背景是在思念遠方的人，只要想到對方可能也正在看著或聽著這場雨，就會覺得自己正與對方在一起，明明相距很遠，卻又似乎很近。

所以音樂中同時有著「空山新雨後」的閒適、也有「千里共嬋娟」的深情嗎？也許只要聽過這首曲子，都能找到屬於自己的答案吧。
