〈黃昏〉是情歌教父周傳雄極具代表性的作品，也是他自己最喜歡的作品之一。這首歌寫於他人生中的低潮，有感於生命中的美好如此短暫，他在淡水漁人碼頭的夕陽下寫下這首歌。

十幾歲時，我喜歡寫詩詞文賦，「黃昏」這個意象常是我寫作的素材，似乎有感於生命之華美與須臾，實則是無病呻吟，為賦新詞強說愁。那年的我覺得每天的黃昏，都是用以入我筆下的黃昏。

二十幾歲時，我有過一段很悠閒的時光。當時課很少、吉他彈得不怎麼樣、也還沒創Youtube頻道，一週總有幾天閒閒無事；於是我常一個人上山，坐在遊客人來人往的步道上，花幾個小時觀察夕陽如何西沉。那時我已不太感嘆於黃昏的短暫，反倒是一邊看著落日餘暉，想著藝術與我執的問題，想著佛說、即非、是名的問題，想著聖方濟走入森林、予鳥獸布道的聲音。那年的我覺得身旁遊客所看著的黃昏，不是我所看到的黃昏。

現在已沒有當年的悠閒時光，偶爾忙到忘記吃飯，也很久沒有慢慢看看黃昏；但知道無論是看到的「黃昏」或聽到的〈黃昏〉其實依舊還是黃昏。在這個頻道中，我所應該做的很簡單，只是要回到感受音樂的原點，並將自己最好的吉他編曲與演奏呈現給大家而已吧。

是黃昏、也不是黃昏、也並非不是黃昏……到最後面對絢麗黃昏的短暫與消逝，也只該是淡淡一笑吧。

I always had a few days a week without anything to do. So I often went up the mountain alone, sat on the trail where tourists came and went, and spent a few days Watch the sunset for hours. At that time, I no longer lamented the brevity of dusk. Instead, I watched the sunset and thought about the question of art and ego, the question of what the Buddha said, "is and is not", and the question of St. Francis's walk into the forest. , and the sound of preaching to birds and beasts. That year, I felt that the sunset that the tourists around me saw was not the sunset I saw.

We no longer have the leisure time we had in the past. Sometimes I am so busy that I forget to eat. I haven’t watched the sunset slowly for a long time. But I know that no matter whether it is the "sunset" I see or the "sunset" I hear, it is still dusk. In this channel, what I should do is very simple, just to return to the origin of feeling music, and present my best guitar arrangement and performance to everyone.
