〈風的通道〉亦名〈塚森裡的大樹〉，此配樂出現時，龍貓與皋月姊妹正讓院子中的橡樹快速發芽生長；而微風陣陣，月華如練，是個讓人心情愉悅的美好夜晚。

「從森林深處吹來的風，輕輕拂過樹梢，那是風的通道。以無形的手搖曳麥穗，森林深處的風啊，將你的頭髮悄悄拂亂……。」

森林、大樹、麥田、微風，歌詞中集結了這麼多迷人的元素，似乎要讓聽見歌聲的人，感受到密林的深邃、樹群的呢喃、麥熟的芬芳，以及晚風的溫柔。

動畫中另一個用到這個配樂的，是皋月的父親帶著姊妹倆與巨大樟樹打招呼的場景。

這是一棵樹圍約莫十數人合抱的巨木，樹上綁著注連繩，樹旁的小神社看似陳舊，卻益顯古樸莊嚴。這時，皋月的父親開口了：

「很久很久以前，樹木跟我們人的感情很好。爸爸就是因為看到這棵樹，才這麼喜歡現在這個家，而且知道媽媽一定也會喜歡這裡。」

這段場景與對話雖然再平凡不過，但長大後重看《龍貓》時，卻是讓我很感動的一段。

〈風的通道〉搭配的這兩個場景同樣都與樹有關，卻呈現出一動一靜、一虛一實的相反對比，樹可以是皋月與小梅的遊樂場，醒來後發現樹的生長不過是南柯一夢；也可以是居民心靈與信仰的寄託，一枝一葉都是安定人心的力量。

了解動畫中的場景後，這首〈風的通道〉彷彿也有了不同的深度與魅力，在吉他的弦音中流動遊走，如同森林深處吹來的一陣風。

Another scene in the animation where this music is used is when Gao Yue's father takes his two sisters to greet the giant camphor tree.
