我之前曾在頻道發表過《龍貓》中的〈散步〉、〈風的通道〉這兩首吉他改編作品，而這首可能是整部動畫、甚至是整個吉卜力電影史中最具代表性的〈鄰家的龍貓〉，將會成為我的《龍貓吉他編曲集》中的第三首。

我常為了編一首歌而重看整部動畫，但我至今仍分不出《龍貓》中最讓我感動的畫面，是鄉間的小路、廚房的光影、成群的小煤球、滿桌的橡實、夜晚的蚊帳、樹頂的演奏、毛絨絨的公車，或者是在大龍貓身上睡著的小梅。

重看《龍貓》時，與小時候一樣不變的，是我仍會因某些片段而開心的笑起來；但不知為何笑著笑著，眼中就會開始慢慢出現淚水。我感覺這是很難用文字言說的體驗，而這時候音樂可能是更好的媒介，所以我把這種體驗編入了50小節後(影片約1分30秒起)的尾奏，也是整個編曲中我很喜歡的一小段。

I have previously published two guitar arrangements of "Walk" and "Wind Passage" from "My Neighbor Totoro" on my channel, and this one may be the most representative of the entire animation, or even the entire history of Ghibli films. The sexual "Neighbor Totoro" will be the third song in my "Neighbor Totoro Guitar Arrangement Collection".

I often re-watch the entire animation in order to compose a song, but I still can't tell which scene in "My Neighbor Totoro" moved me the most. It was the country road, the light and shadow in the kitchen, the groups of small coal balls, the table full of acorns in the sky, mosquito nets at night, music playing on treetops, a furry bus, or Mei sleeping on the big Totoro.

When I re-watched "My Neighbor Totoro", what remained unchanged from when I was a child was that I still laughed happily at certain scenes; but for some reason, as I laughed, tears slowly began to appear in my eyes. I feel that this is an experience that is difficult to describe in words, and music may be a better medium at this time, so I incorporated this experience into the outro after 50 bars (about 1 minute and 30 seconds in the film), which is also the ending of the whole film. One of my favorite parts of the arrangement.
